Alan H. Mantel, Partner. Mr. Mantel has been a Partner of Snow Phipps since the inception of the Firm. Prior to the formation of Snow Phipps, Mr. Mantel was a Partner of Guggenheim Merchant Banking. Previously, Mr. Mantel was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance department at Credit Suisse. Mr. Mantel held a similar position at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. prior to its merger with Credit Suisse. Previously, Mr. Mantel was a Senior Accountant and Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP.
Mr. Mantel received an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany. He currently serves on the boards of EnviroFinance Group, LLC, Velocity Commercial Capital, LLC, ZeroChaos, Velvet, LLC and HCTec. Mr. Mantel also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of SUNY at Albany Business School.
